Excellent position for a MEP/HVAC Project Manager with 3 - 6+ years of experience. MUST have a solid background designing and managing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection engineering and design. The MEP Project Manager will serve as the single point of responsibility for project execution, client communication, design coordination, submissions and deadlines and construction phase oversight. All or most work is performed 100% REMOTELY with occasional field visits to the site.
Responsibilities:- Maintain working knowledge of all MEP trades and project scope.
- Prepare schematic design sets for small projects in AutoCAD.
- Occasionally attend site visits and inspections.
- Document field conditions with notes and photos.
- Lead coordination calls with clients, contractors and consultants.
- Ensure uninterrupted information flow across project team.
- Track DOB, FDNY, DEP, Client, and other agency processes, ensuring filings are complete and on time.
- Maintain project scope of work, initiating change orders.
- Oversee RFI’s, submittals, and field conditions.
- 3-6+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience managing MEP and building system projects.
- Strong understanding of construction and engineering workflows.
- Experience with NYC agencies.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, etc.
Engineering degree required. (BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.)
