Senior Controls Engineer (Ignition Specialist)
We are hiring a Senior Controls Engineer (Ignition Specialist) to support industrial automation and SCADA projects. This is an onsite role with limited work-from-home flexibility during development phases. Join a collaborative team with a great growth oriented culture!
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Ignition SCADA systems
- Program and integrate PLC/HMI platforms (primarily Allen-Bradley)
- Support projects from design through commissioning
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Participate in on-site startup and troubleshooting
- 3–5+ years of Ignition development experience
- Ignition Gold Certification (preferred)
- Experience with Ignition 7.9–8.3
- Strong PLC/HMI and systems integration background
- Experience with SQL, Python, Java, and industrial networking
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and flow diagrams
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Electrical and/or EPLAN
- Valid driver’s license
- Rockwell Automation, Wonderware, Inductive Automation
- Ether Net/IP, Modbus, Control Net, Device Net
- Process instrumentation and VFDs
- Project estimating and cost control
