- Provide engineering support for Military Sealift Command (MSC) on transportation alteration (TRANSALT) work
- Review and analyze shipboard electrical and marine system design documentation
- Perform electrical feasibility studies and create electrical design drawings
- Collaborate with senior engineering staff to generate final technical products
- Conduct site visits and ship checks at Navy and Commercial Shipyards
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent military training
- 3-7 years of experience in US Naval Ship Engineering or related electrical power systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to create electrical design drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for complex technical issues
- Experience with MSC TRANSALT, package development, and quality assurance
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, NAVISWORKS, and SKM Power Tools
- Familiarity with Machinery Control Systems and PLC/HMI/Automation/Controls
- Participation in professional organizations such as IEEE or SNAME
- Shipboard and/or shipyard experience
