The OpportunityExperienced level position assigned to a role in Scheduling or Cost Management (or a combination). Under general supervision, you will perform project controls assignments aligned to your training, capability and experience. With additional experience, you are expected to assist in preparing larger and more complex project controls assignments.
The TeamAs part of BV Operations, your work will support projects across our market sectors:
Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial. You will engage with engineers, technicians and skilled specialists on projects ranging from small community improvements to large mega-projects, contributing to a collaborative and innovative culture with opportunities for career development.
Understands EPC work processes and dependencies between functions. Develop project risk analysis skills. Understands financial/accounting reporting. May prepare forecasts under minimal supervision.
- Cost:
- Maintains and may prepare Cost Spread with minimal supervision. Understands cash position on project.
- Prepare input to monthly reports.
- Maintains and may lead quantity reporting.
- Maintains Change Log and ensures forecast reflects appropriate potential changes. May assist with change quantification.
- Applies financial acumen.
- Gains understanding of key scheduling processes.
- Scheduling:
- Facilitates the development and maintenance of the Level I/II schedule.
- Leads in schedule development and maintenance, including fragnet identification and resource leveling.
- Leads critical path and float analysis reporting.
- Develops and maintains earned value reports.
- Gains understanding of key cost control processes.

QualificationsPreferred Qualifications
Prefer a four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum Qualifications
Four-year Bachelor's degree with three or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience, OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with six years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.

Work Environment/Physical DemandsOffice Environment:
Sitting, talking, hearing, keyboard input and seeing. Occasional travel up to 25% may be required.
Construction Site Environment:
Standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, moving, and walking long distances in and around confined, cluttered places and uneven areas. Ability to see and hear naturally or with correction, work at heights above 5 feet, climb stairs, ladders and scaffolds, and work up to a 12-hour shift. Work may occur in cramped spaces with extreme temperatures, noise, and hazardous equipment.
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
