Civil​/Geotechnical Engineer ll - Remote

Civil/Geotechnical Engineer II based in Juno Beach, FL. You can work remotely. This is an 11‑month contract assignment (W‑2). Geotechnical/Civil/Structural Principal Subject Matter Expert (SME) role.

Must be able to travel within North America up to 20% of the time.

• Deliver responsive engineering support for wind, solar, energy storage, clean fuels, substation, and transmission projects within the Engineering & Construction Department
• Participate in design and constructability reviews and provide accurate comments and feedback to avoid schedule impacts
• Support resolution of critical execution‑phase issues that could adversely affect project budget and schedule if not addressed promptly
• Coordinate and secure external engineering consulting expertise to supplement and validate professional opinions
• Perform due diligence related to new technologies
• Support equipment and material technical evaluations, including review of manufacturing and fabrication non‑conformance reports

• Master's degree in civil engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in at least one United States jurisdiction
• Eight or more years of experience in geotechnical engineering performing field investigations, reviewing laboratory data, and developing geotechnical reports
• Provides recommendations, observes construction activities, reviews specifications and drawings, analyzes complex geotechnical issues, and manages complex geotechnical projects
