Gis Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to assist with entering backlog information into the database, including inspection and repair reports. The role involves researching and reviewing documents for quality and correctness, followed by uploading and scanning them into the database. Previous GIS or drafting experience would be advantageous to better understand the documents being checked and uploaded.

GIS Analyst

• Review GIS records for accuracy.
• Conduct thorough records research.
• Scan and archive data efficiently.
• Input data heavily into the database.

• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role.
• Technical aptitude to understand documents.
• Proficiency in computer databases.

• Previous pipeline experience, especially in pipeline integrity.

This is an open-ended, long-term contract with a commitment of at least 3-4 years. The role offers remote work with a 40‑hour work week from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be willing to drive into the Owensboro office one day a month for document scanning. The Owensboro office features a quiet engineering environment with a casual dress code.

This is a Contract position based out of Owensboro, KY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
