Senior Project Manager – Food & Beverage - Northwest Arkansas (Open to Relocators)
Metric Geo is partnering with a rapidly growing engineering and project management firm to identify an experienced Project Manager to join their onsite team in Northwest Arkansas.
This opportunity is ideal for a professional with a strong background in facility engineering projects, particularly within food manufacturing or processing environments, who enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams and driving projects from concept through execution.
The RoleIn this position, you will be responsible for managing engineering-driven projects, coordinating technical reviews, maintaining schedules and budgets, and serving as a key link between clients, vendors, and internal engineering teams. You’ll play a hands‑on role in both project leadership and technical oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Manage facility engineering projects to ensure scope, schedule, and budget targets are met
- Review engineering designs and technical documentation for quality and constructability
- Coordinate project planning, execution, and day‑to‑day engineering activities
- Interface with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and project issues
- Conduct site visits and field evaluations as required (approximately 15–25% travel)
- Promote continuous improvement through collaboration and feedback
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in facility engineering or engineering project management
- Proven experience managing projects within engineering, construction, or fabrication environments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- PE and/or PMP certification is highly desirable
