NOTE:
This position is available for remote work within the contiguous United States with travel as required for business purposes.
This role will be responsible for advancing the microreactor design using a systems and lifecycle approach. This position will report to the manager for product development and will be part of a dynamic high impact team focused on developing NuScale’s microreactor technology. The team reports to the CTO. NuScale’s microreactor technology is in the early stages of development and the target market for this product includes research reactor and commercial distributed power and heat applications.
Product power is at a thermal power scale smaller than NuScale’s commercial small modular reactor.

- Education:
A B.S. in an Engineering or Physics related field from an accredited college or university is required. An advanced degree is preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of full-time engineering experience in systems engineering is required. Experience with MBSE software such as Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect is preferred. - Industry Requirements:
Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly using a phone, personal interaction, and computers.
