Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CAD Drafter experienced in AutoCAD - MEP software to develop and design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

+ Develop design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.

+ Set up drawings according to established CAD standards.

+ Coordinate with the CAD requirements of clients.

+ Draft mechanical and electrical drawings, including process piping, electrical distribution, and control for water and wastewater projects (70% Electrical design, 30% Mechanical design).

+ Conduct field validation of the drawings along with the Design Engineer.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years of experience within an AE firm.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD.

+ At least 1 year of working experience with Revit (not school experience).

Skills & Qualifications

+

Experience with Micro Station.

+ Knowledge in wastewater design and engineering.

+ Skills in plumbing and fire protection.

Work Environment

The team consists of 21 people in the Warren office, operating from 8 AM to 4:30 PM with a flexible schedule. Business casual attire is expected, and work from home is available on Fridays. The company culture is family-like, featuring bi-monthly employee lunches, potlucks, a 4th of July BBQ, and a Christmas party. Additionally, the President hosts a summer BBQ for all employees.

The company offers stability, having never laid off an employee during recessions, and provides opportunities for profit-sharing and stock ownership.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
