Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time hybrid role for a Civil Engineer/PE (Professional Engineer) located in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves collaborating on the design, analysis, and execution of engineering projects, contributing to sustainable and efficient solutions. Key day‑to‑day tasks include assessing project requirements, preparing detailed designs and technical drawings, ensuring regulatory compliance, reviewing project progress, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams. While most tasks will require onsite presence in Los Angeles, some remote work flexibility is offered.
Qualifications- Expertise in Civil Engineering principles, structural design, and infrastructure development
- Proficiency in technical tools and software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other design software
- Knowledge of sustainable solutions such as energy efficiency, electrification, and transportation infrastructure
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification, or eligibility to acquire one within a designated timeline
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred
- Understanding of regulatory policies and compliance in engineering and environmental projects
- Experience in sustainable design or energy‑related engineering is a plus
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment with part remote and part onsite responsibilities
