Our team supports industrial clients across Northeast Ohio in the metals processing, food & beverage, chemical & process, and general manufacturing industries with multi-discipline project management, engineering, and automation services.

This is a full-time position focused on structural and mechanical engineering for industrial equipment infrastructure and capital equipment projects. The Senior Mechanical / Structural Engineer will lead design work for equipment support structures (mezzanines, platforms, etc.) and associated mechanical engineering tasks to support equipment installations and industrial upgrades.

The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer capable of working independently, producing high-quality structural and mechanical engineering deliverables, and contributing to project success from design through field support.

• Perform structural analysis and design for equipment support structures, mezzanines, platforms, and similar industrial applications
• Develop engineering calculations and prepare mechanical/structural drawing packages as required
• Support mechanical design tasks associated with industrial equipment installation projects
• Create and review drawings in Solid Works and/or AutoCAD, or similar
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and industrial standards
• Conduct field verification, site measurements, and installation support
• Coordinate with clients, fabrication teams, and multi-discipline internal resources
• Assist with scope development, estimating, and proposal preparation
• Mentor and collaborate with junior engineering staff
• Manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• 10+ years of structural or mechanical engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Experience designing equipment support structures or related industrial systems
• Proficiency with Solid Works and/or AutoCAD
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and onsite at client facilities when required
• Full‑time position
• Primarily based out of our Valley View, OH office, with field work at client sites across Northeast Ohio
• Some work from home flexibility available
• Onsite presence expected for design coordination, field verification, and installation support
• $100k-$130k per year, commensurate with experience
