This role has been open for several months and is a top priority for our Technical Operations leadership team. If you’re a seasoned compressor station professional who thrives on solving complex operational challenges and supporting field teams — this is your seat at the table.

As a Sr. Mechanical Technical Advisor
, you’ll be part of a small, highly respected technical operations team that provides advanced support to compressor stations across the region (PA/NJ border through Connecticut and up toward the Canadian border).

This is not a wrench-turning role
. You’ll be the go-to technical expert when stations encounter issues beyond routine troubleshooting — guiding field technicians, supervisors, and operations teams through resolution, best practices, and procedural questions.

• Provide senior-level technical guidance for natural gas compressor stations
• Support facilities equipped with gas-fired turbines (primarily Solar Turbines
  )
• Troubleshoot and advise on equipment including:
• Compressors, pumps, valves, actuators, coolers, and rotating equipment
• Travel to sites for planned support and unplanned operational events
• Participate in weekly operational planning and post-event reviews
• Provide after-hours on-call support as needed for critical events
• Serve as a trusted technical partner to field technicians and frontline supervisors

• ✔ 2–3 days at assigned facilities
• ✔ 1–2 days home/office-based
• ✔ Flexibility for unplanned outages or escalations

• Deep, hands-on experience in compressor station operations
• Strong background with gas-fired turbine compression
• Solar Turbines experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting or maintaining:
• Compressor stations, rotating equipment, turbine-driven systems
• Comfortable advising and influencing without direct authority
• No degree required — experience matters most
• Mechanical or Maintenance Specialist
• Reliability or Technical Support Specialist
• Field Service or Compression Specialist
