GNC Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced GNC Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding system constraints and transforming them into effective designs, as well as proven success in preliminary and critical design reviews (PDR/CDR).
Responsibilities- Develop GNC designs from the initial concept stage to PDR/CDR.
- Understand and apply system constraints to GNC design.
- Create algorithms for object detection and rendezvous and proximity operations.
- Evaluate and enhance the performance of RPO activities using various imagery inputs.
- Develop algorithms using simulated imagery for pose estimation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in GNC related to space products.
- Proven experience in developing GNC designs from a blank slate.
- Experience with algorithms for object detection and proximity operations.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO).

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $120.00/hr.
