Review and issue cost reports to the construction team. Review the cash flow and issues with the cost report to the client's finance/construction team. Review all change orders in accordance with the client's approval process. Ensure all invoices are being processed by the cost team. Provide procurement services for the client where applicable for construction and engineering services, including preparing RFP and bid analysis.
Where applicable, overview and report to the client on contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages. Lead the bi‑weekly cost meetings to review procurement status and change order status with the contractors and engineering teams. Provide cost information on value engineering analysis. Carry out an earned‑value analysis of the project on a periodic basis. Review the contractors’ close‑out administration and ensure that they meet their contractual requirements.
With minimal supervision and where necessary, assist the client with any cost information relating to legal issues due to non‑performance by the contractors or engineering services and mechanical liens, etc. Perform such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural), Business Administration (MBA), Economics, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural), Business Administration, Economics, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Knowledge of Primavera; administration of construction contracts for liens and AIA contracts; procurement and tendering; cost analysis and benchmarking; project financial and cost reporting;
Salesforce; requirements gathering; and budget control. - National travel required approximately 25% of the time for project and client support. May be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States. Remote working or telecommuting permitted in all U.S. states, in accordance with company policy. Relocation to an area within a reasonable commuting distance of the job opportunity required.
