Chief Electrical Estimator; Remote

A strong growing Electrical Contractor is seeking a fully remote Chief Estimator to lead electrical estimating efforts for large-scale commercial, data center, and industrial projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and bid documents, and identifying all labor, material, and equipment costs to produce complete proposals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and vendors, evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals for cost-effectiveness and compliance, supporting value engineering to optimize cost without impacting quality, staying current on electrical codes and industry best practices, and participating in internal bid reviews and presentations.
• The estimator will use Accubid Anywhere to develop proposals and will oversee and mentor a team of estimators while meeting tight deadlines.
• Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of chief-level electrical estimating experience, a strong understanding of NEC codes, electrical systems, and construction methodologies, proficiency with Accubid Anywhere, excellent analytical and mathematical skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Leadership and communication skills are essential to effectively coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
• Preferred qualifications include experience estimating large-scale projects, knowledge of high-voltage systems, switch gear, and backup power solutions, and prior exposure to design-build and fast-track projects; a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus but not required.
