This Role In SummaryWhirlpool is currently seeking candidates for an Analyst / Finish Process Engineering opening to join our operations organization in Tulsa, OK, at the North American location where Whirlpool’s premium line ranges are built. This onsite role is for a Finish Senior Process Engineer / Senior Analyst, responsible for design guidance based on manufacturing process capabilities, key interface with plant personnel, process capability assessment, closing knowledge gaps, coordinating process technology development, ensuring applicable BoP’s are followed, managing Mfg trials and prototype builds, delivering process technology specifications by G2, working with plant NPI and regional engineering teams, leading new process technology development, tracking BoP compliance, and driving product leadership through the Whirlpool Product Development process.

Your Responsibilities Will Include- Has responsibility and accountability for the Hours per Unit, OEE, and First Pass Yield of Finish Processes
- Knowledge of Wet Enameling Processes
- Understanding of Powder Porcelain Enameling Processes
- Background in Powder Painting Processes
- Understanding of Laser Cutting Processes
- Experience in Parts Washing Processes
- Background in Furnaces and their Operations and Furnace Profiles
- Understanding of Process Flow
- Practical knowledge of Industrial Engineering Principles to set up jobs and labor routers
- Understanding of Place for Every Part (PFEP)
- Lead your area to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets
- Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Overall Process Yield (OPY)
- Participate in problem‑solving activities and the execution of activities defined in that process, with a preferred understanding of WCM methodology
- Monitor and measure key indicators of department performance
- Communicate effectively with associates, peers and division leadership; demonstrate Whirlpool Values and a Spirit of Winning
- Excellent manufacturing process technology acumen, especially within platform family
- Knowledge in FMEA, PFMEA and Opex tools
- Proficient with key computer programs such as Google, SAP, KRONOS, CAD and other Whirlpool software
- Plan, organize and prioritize tasks as well as set expectations for the Support Techs and Process Technicians reporting to you
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years experience in managing employees in a manufacturing environment
- Finish Department experience
- Highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills and leadership behaviors
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing Finishing operations desired, with ability to learn company philosophy, division policies and procedures
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, essential
- Ability to read, write, make oral presentations and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
