Mid-Level Architect

We are seeking a Lead Architect who is passionate about solving complex problems, particularly within data center environments. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in client interactions and has a strong foundation in Revit. If you have experience with large-scale data center projects and enjoy leading teams in fast-paced, mission-critical work, this position offers a chance to be at the forefront of impactful design.

• Lead architectural design for hyperscale and colocation data centers from concept through commissioning.
• Shape design strategy to support performance, security, scalability, and client business goals.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and external partners to deliver integrated solutions.
• Produce and review Revit models, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Present design direction and updates to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Oversee code compliance, permitting, and mission-critical standards.
• Mentor junior team members and support design quality across projects.
• Contribute to proposals, early concepts, and client-facing materials.
• Stay current on data center trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

• Proficient in Revit
• 7+ years of experience in architecture, with at least 3 years focused on data centers
• Project management experience
• Construction drawings and documentation experience
• Strong architectural design and design development skills

• BA/BS in Architecture or equivalent experience/education
• U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work
• Licensure preferred (Registered Architect or on path to licensure); additional accreditation is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, VA.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
