Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. In this role you will support a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwestern US by leading program support for EPC Battery Replacement programs at substations and radio stations across the service territory. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the project portfolio, and for overall leadership, direction, and management for the client contract.
The Program Manager shall oversee project managers and discipline leads, establish program-wide systems for risk management, safety, and quality, and ensure clear and timely reporting to the Leidos client. This position is currently pending an anticipated Leidos contract award.
This position offers remote working capabilities, but local and regional travel to client offices and project sites will be required.
Therefore, candidates should be located in or adjacent to the Pacific Northwestern US in order to be considered. Monetary relocation assistance is not available for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 7 years of progressively responsible program and project management experience managing high-voltage EPC projects
- Ability to Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of electric power and infrastructure projects
- Ability to travel periodically as required, candidates should possess a valid US driver's license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Must be able to interact with customer representatives in and effective manner - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, P6)
- PMP Certification
- Previous experience in a leadership position in project and/or program management
- Experience with battery storage and/or substation projects
- Demonstrated experience working with US Electric Utilities
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams
