The Civil Engineer - Utilities Project Manager will oversee and manage the design, planning, and implementation of municipal utilities projects, including stormwater, sewer, and water and infrastructure improvements. Responsibilities include preparing contract packages, reviewing detailed civil engineering plans, monitoring design and construction progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating with internal teams and external contractors. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Tukwila, WA, with opportunities for remote work on a partial basis.
Qualifications- Expertise in general Civil Engineering practices.
- Skills in Stormwater Management, including drainage system planning and environmental compliance.
- Experience in capital project planning and management for municipal utility infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, and community members.
- Licensure as a Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain within a specified timeline is preferred.
