The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing field operations, general safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, commissioning, coordination with other superintendents and project leaders on the job site. This position reports to the Field Operations Manager or other senior management personnel that the CEO may designate.
This is a Project‑site position, working out of your home office and traveling to project sites. Working hours are Monday through Friday, ranging from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. As necessary, you may be required to work overtime and on weekends. Travel, up to 100% of the time, is expected.

Essential Job Function & Responsibilities- Regular attendance, in accordance with the company’s attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
- Directs solar/construction personnel and/or installation subcontractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
- Coordination of personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules
- Support the team with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for activities
- Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
- Follow and implement the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy
- Identify welding certification, training and experience appropriate for assignment scope
- Coordinate and implement resources and activities necessary to maintain a safe and quality execution
- Assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance
- Coordination with supplier testing & commissioning teams
- Advice site teams on paper work needed collected to initiate commissioning
- Identify testing required per project scope of work
- Communication with engineering parties to meet commissioning requirements
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management

- Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience supporting the construction of major projects, preferably in the building of power stations or supply networks, or other utility‑scale construction projects
- Solar PV, wind power or BESS project experience, preferred
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent skills in MS Project or comparable project management tool, and possess strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of software development methodologies and processes
- Strong in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in written and spoken English, bilingual Spanish and English preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience reviewing electrical and mechanical manuals of installation and design technical packages
- Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner
- May have to interact with Owner’s Field Representative and outside testing agencies
