Cost Estimating Specialist; Remote

• Partner with program teams to deliver accurate dollar and labor estimates for business proposals
• Conduct design‑to‑cost and should‑cost analyses to evaluate supplier quotes and manufacturing approaches
• Perform data mining and design reviews to ensure estimates reflect real‑world cost drivers
• Build and maintain cost models and automation tools to streamline estimating activities
• Prepare compliant estimate packages and documentation for leadership and customer review

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Working experience within Supply Chain, contracts, cost analysis, or a similar field
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
• Experience with materials, labor, overhead rates, standards, and cost/learning curves
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for data mining and design review

• Experience in cost estimation, cost analysis, or related engineering discipline
• Working experience with cost automation, estimating software, or data visualization platforms
