The Sr. Field Engineer, Electrical role is responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing project timelines and budgets in construction projects.

• Project Oversight:
  Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems at construction sites, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure that electrical systems are integrated into the overall project design.
• Technical Evaluation:
  Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
• Documentation:
  Review technical documentation, including drawings and specifications, to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Problem‑Solving:
  Analyse complex electrical issues and propose effective solutions to overcome technical challenges during the project lifecycle.

• License electrician or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience in electrical, particularly in site management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects, including budgeting and scheduling. Review construction documents such as RFIs, Shop Drawings, and cost estimates.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
• Highly proficient technical/computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel), internet and web applications.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Must have the ability to perform the necessary job‑related functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Travel up to 100% for site investigations and assessments, or client meetings.
• Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods.
• Work extended hours, evenings and weekends when necessary to meet business deadlines.
• Regular use of office equipment such as a computer/laptop and computer screens.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
• Ability to see differences between colors, shades and brightness.
• Depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
• May occasionally be exposed to the following work conditions: work near/with moving mechanical parts; work near/with electrical currents; work in high places or underground; be exposed to fumes/airborne particles or caustic chemicals; withstand outdoor weather conditions; withstand moderate to very loud noises.
