Commissioning Project Manager – Detroit

We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer who will lead our growing Commissioning Teams in Greater Detroit area. If you have experience with MEP building systems, a passion for Commissioning, and experience leading teams, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for you to advance in your career. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, teachable, and willing to collaborate.

• Adept at leading teams, building rapport with clients, confirming client deliverables, as well as planning, organizing, and directing all elements of the project.
• Proficient at performing Mechanical Building Commissioning, system specific installation and operation checklists, inspection report, and testing protocols
• Proficient in functional testing on equipment, field observations on static equipment, system design reviews and testing (HVAC equipment and controls, air systems, hydronic systems, and life safety systems)
• Collaboration skills in working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, ability to manage several projects at the same time, and timeliness in issuing reports
• Willingness to collaborate with the Business Development team as the Commissioning Engineer expert in the North Carolina market

• Willingness to commute or relocate near Greater Detroit area
• 3+ year of Project Management experience
• 5-7 years in Mechanical Systems Design Engineering
• Proficiency with Building Envelope Commissioning
• BCxA or BCxP Professional Certification
• Experienced Commissioning Technician or HVAC Equipment Service Technician
