Maritime Radar Technologies Program Manager

As the Maritime Radar Technologies Program Manager, you’ll be the primary representative for Lockheed Martin with the U.S. Navy, collaborating closely with the PEO IWS customers to successfully capture and deliver Maritime Radar Technologies while mitigating risks and exploiting opportunities. You’ll oversee the financial performance of cross‑product efforts, including the RF‑Head replacement, ensuring we meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Your role includes a strong partnership with various PEO IWS program management teams to deliver contract commitments on cost and schedule and capture new business based on success relationships and exceptional performance.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field;
    Master’s preferred
  • 8+ years of program or project management experience, preferably in defense or aerospace
  • Demonstrated expertise managing cost, schedule, and technical performance across the full program lifecycle—from pursuit to execution and closeout
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interface at all levels and with multiple departments
  • A track record of successfully establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, subcontractors, and employees
  • Capture and proposal development experience in a lead or supporting role
Desired Skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition processes (Design & Demonstration, EMD, LRIP)
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and direct personnel in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to multi‑task and manage multiple simultaneous program efforts
  • Strong business acumen and project‑management technical skills
  • Experience working with teams that include other small businesses and larger companies
  • Experience with non‑traditional programs, including transitioning prototypes into deployed programs of record
  • Experience working with the U.S. Navy and/or MDA as a customer
  • Program management and technical experience in software delivery
  • Proven ability to build, evolve, and sustain customer partnerships

Pay Rate

The annual base salary range for this position is $128,400 – $226,435 (location dependent).
