POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer for the electrical engineering department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design electrical controls systems for material handling with no supervision
- Design of controls within product and integration activities
- Work with supervisor and principle engineer to define AutoCAD Electrical development tools required for schematic optimization and automation.
- Work with system architecture engineers to develop intelligent CAD blocks that can assist in the development of Schematic and PLC creation.
- Travel to customers facility for meetings as required or Hardware design issues if required. Less than 10% expected.
- Lead 3-5 CO-OPs or level 1 engineers in the development of schematics and documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (four-year college or university) or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Physical ability to lift at least 25lbs, work safely on ladders, narrow walkways, and man lifts
- Mastery of developing material handling systems in AutoCAD
- Understanding and basic proficiency in PLC, GDU and HMI programming
- Experience in commissioning systems
- Proven history of developing automated tools for AutoCAD Electrical
