An established international semiconductor innovator in mixed signal and power management ICs is expanding its European presence and is looking for a technically strong, customer focused Field Application Engineer to support growth in the telecoms market.

This organisation develops high efficiency, high performance analog and power devices using its own advanced BCD process technology. Its portfolio spans power management, signal chain and other analog solutions, enabling customers to solve complex design challenges with reliable, production ready silicon.

If you enjoy working at the intersection of deep analog engineering and real world telecom infrastructure, this role offers the opportunity to influence designs from concept through to volume production.

As a Field Application Engineer, you will act as the primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams. You will support telecom customers across the region, helping them integrate advanced analog and power solutions into next generation systems.

This is a hands on role suited to someone who understands power architectures, analog signal integrity and the realities of designing for demanding telecom infrastructure.

Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership

• Build strong relationships with engineering managers and design teams
• Serve as the main technical liaison, ensuring clear and structured communication
• Understand customer roadmaps, technical requirements and project timelines
• Identify new design opportunities and application areas within telecom systems

Design In & Design Win Execution

• Drive design in activities at schematic and system level
• Support integration, validation and troubleshooting of analog and power ICs
• Deliver technical training and workshops to customer teams
• Provide structured feedback from the field to influence future product development

Collaboration with Product & Engineering Teams

• Work closely with product line and R&D teams to address customer specific challenges
• Support new product introductions and position them effectively within active projects
• Contribute market insight and telecom application knowledge to product roadmap discussions

Sales & Commercial Support

• Partner with sales to develop technically compelling value propositions
• Create application block diagrams and tailored technical presentations
• Maintain accurate project tracking and opportunity reporting

• Strong technical foundation in analog and power electronics
• Experience supporting or designing solutions for the telecoms market
• Solid understanding of power management architectures and signal chain design
• Ability to engage confidently with customer engineering teams
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience working at or with Ericsson and or Nokia is a plus
