Application Engineer

Are you interested in working with propulsion solutions for the maritime market of today and tomorrow? An exciting opportunity has arisen as Application Engineer in our Propulsion & Handling division. In this role, you will be a part of Sales Support team in Thruster Systems business, delivering support to our external and internal customers worldwide during sales projects.

• Carry out “pre-engineering” during sales projects
• Support sales / customers / design offices to find best possible thruster for their vessel
• Guide Global Sales and local Sales Support with special arrangements and requests
• Evaluate and propose suitable thruster selection to fulfill customer requirements
• Improve internal processes and tools between Engineering and Sales Support
• Act as a contact point between Sales and Product organizations

• Minimum of bachelor´s degree in engineering, or other relevant work experience
• Experience or knowledge of thrusters
• Good spoken and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with NX and AutoCAD is considered an advantage
• Global perspective and open to different challenges, cultures, and ways of operating

• Able to communicate in a clear, precise, and structured way
• Pragmatic, self-driven and solution-oriented, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results
• Able to co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information, and support others in the pursuit of team goals
