In your role as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM), you will be responsible for overseeing and executing a variety of surveying projects while also supporting the development and growth of Nexgen’s Arizona operations. You will play a pivotal role in establishing best practices, supporting business development efforts, mentoring future team members, and upholding our commitment to excellence, innovation, and the highest standards of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Manage and execute surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with state statutes and company standards.
- Survey Execution: Conduct and oversee field surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys, utilizing GPS, Total Station, and other advanced equipment.
- Data Analysis and Mapping: Analyze survey data to prepare detailed maps and reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
- Quality Assurance: Review and certify the accuracy of survey documents, ensuring all deliverables meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration:
Collaborate with field crews, CAD technicians, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. - Client Communication: Liaise with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns or questions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in surveying laws and regulations to ensure all practices remain compliant.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance standards.
- Licensure: Active Arizona Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in good standing, issued by the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration.
