- Provide risk engineering consultation to identify and recommend risk reduction strategies for energy-related accounts
- Conduct onsite and virtual surveys to assess potential risks and exposures at client locations
- Develop and implement comprehensive Risk Engineering Service Plans that enhance client safety and health
- Review claims and losses prior to client visits and provide valuable insights for risk mitigation
- Summarize risk engineering services and consultation outcomes through written documentation
- BA/BS degree required, preferably in Occupational Safety and Health Studies, Fire Sciences, Pure Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
- Professional certification/designation in a safety-related field (e.g., CSP, CIH, CPCU, ARM, MBA, ERIS) is preferred
- Strong knowledge of various lines of insurance coverage and their application to business exposures
- High level of skill in consultative selling and client relationship management
- Ability to communicate effectively with brokers and clients on risk management strategies
- Experience in risk engineering within the energy sector, especially related to battery energy storage, wind turbines, and EV charging
- Familiarity with industry associations and participation in relevant discussions and training
- Proven track record in developing risk engineering success stories and presentations
- Additional coursework or certifications in advanced risk management practices
- Strong analytical skills in evaluating risk and exposure assessments
