We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee Electric Distribution projects and manage various gas system projects in the client area. The ideal candidate should have experience in project management and the ability to work on multiple customer and contractor-initiated projects simultaneously.

A general understanding or willingness to learn about Gas Systems, water/wastewater, or sewer systems is necessary. The candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards inherent in our operating procedures.

* Lead multi-disciplinary project teams.

* Develop, manage, and forecast project schedules and budgets.

* Coordinate resources and provide oversight and direction to team members.

* Conduct effective upfront project planning to minimize costs and change orders.

* Identify risks and maximize efficiency through negotiation and conflict resolution.

* Determine the scope of assigned projects and take logical action to meet requirements and deadlines.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer relationships.

* Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.

* Identify customer needs, set reasonable expectations, and propose alternatives.

* Recognize technical issues impacting projects and develop mitigation plans.

* Facilitate communication between service providers and internal customers.

* Respond to customer concerns and work with appropriate parties for resolution.

* Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and design criteria.

* Collaborate with internal departments and external entities to coordinate schedules and resources.

* Support construction activities related to projects.

* Report on project and program progress as directed.

* Gather, consolidate, and analyze facts in relation to project requirements.

* Support emergency response work as requested.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Project management experience, preferably in commercial construction and utility coordination.

* Proficient in scheduling, estimating, and document control.

* Advanced knowledge in project management disciplines and principles.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work as part of a team.

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.

* At least seven years of relevant work experience, including managing simple projects.

* Advanced knowledge in accounting and finance principles.

* Customer-oriented with a positive, team-oriented, and collaborative attitude.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing the employee to work from home. However, the candidate must be local to the area and will need to visit a PSE office in the Bellevue area two to three days a week.

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64.90 - $69.71/hr.
