Location: Greenville, South Carolina (with opportunities to serve various regions including Columbia, Clemson, Spartanburg, Simpsonville, and surrounding areas)

As part of our expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Licensed Surveyor (PLS) to join our team. Position Summary:We are looking for a Licensed Professional Surveyor (PLS) with a strong background in land surveying. This individual will play a key role in the design and management of land surveying projects, ranging from residential properties to large-scale commercial and multifamily developments. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and direction of our new Greenville office, with the potential for ownership and profit sharing.
Key Responsibilities:- Design & Surveying
:
Lead and manage land surveys for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and multi-acre developments. - Project Management
:
Coordinate and oversee surveying operations from fieldwork to final reporting. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with an office manager, logistics coordinator, and assistants to ensure smooth operations. - Leadership & Ownership
:
Potential to take on leadership roles in the future with opportunities for ownership and profit‑sharing. - Software Usage
:
Utilization of surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar, based on company needs). - Client Relations
:
Build strong client relationships and ensure projects meet deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Licensure
:
Must be a Licensed Professional Surveyor (PLS) in the state of South Carolina. (Open to candidates with varying years of experience). - Experience
:
Experience in land surveying projects ranging from small residential surveys to large-scale developments (20 acres+). - Education
:
Degree or equivalent experience in land surveying, engineering, or a related field preferred. - Software
:
Experience with land surveying and design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc. - Work Style
:
Primarily a design role with flexibility for management if desired. Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team. - Location Flexibility
:
Open to remote or hybrid work, with occasional in‑office presence required as the team builds in Greenville. - Hours
:
Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM with flexibility for hybrid or remote work. - Salary
:
Competitive salary between $130,000 – $185,000
