Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineer
The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and validating electrical systems and components for products, infrastructure, or engineering projects. This role supports the full product lifecycle—from concept through production—by creating reliable, safe, and cost-effective electrical designs that meet technical and regulatory standards. The position operates in a fully remote environment and requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities- Design electrical systems, circuits, and components based on project requirements and specifications
- Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and technical documentation
- Perform simulations, calculations, and engineering analysis to validate designs
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful integration
- Support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical designs
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with design reviews and implement improvements based on feedback
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, or deployment phases
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance optimization
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and change management records
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field
- 3–6 years of experience in electrical design or electrical engineering roles
- Proficiency in electrical CAD and design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, OrCAD, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of circuit design, power systems, and electrical components
- Experience interpreting technical standards and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Experience with PCB design and embedded systems
- Knowledge of power electronics, control systems, or industrial automation
- Familiarity with simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB, or similar)
- Experience supporting manufacturing or product development environments
