The Role
You will be part of a friendly, customer‑focused team recognised with the 2024 Shine Award for Team Exemplar for excellent teamwork and collaboration.
In this role, you will help us issue around 1,800 permits each year
, supporting customers and colleagues to deliver a smooth, reliable service.
Your work will include:
- Managing the administrative steps of permit applications, from start to closure
- Keeping accurate digital records and completing required reporting
- Using digital tools such as Microsoft Office, GIS and mapping software
- Working with data, databases and mapping information
- Supporting customers by keeping them informed and advocating for their needs in team discussions
- Providing clear technical guidance to colleagues and customers
- Ensuring permitting information is updated accurately and on time
