Support cutting‑edge research and development staff, as well as construction, maintenance, and production activities that make a real impact.
Conduct comprehensive exposure assessments by anticipating, recognizing, and evaluating workplace hazards, including chemical, biological, and physical agents.
Play a key role in specifying effective exposure controls and mitigation methods using the hierarchy of controls, ensuring quality documentation of your findings.
Serve as a subject matter expert in a specific industrial hygiene area, contributing to the development and implementation of corporate procedures that enhance workplace safety.
This position may involve occasional travel to various sites, allowing you to broaden your experience and network.
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
Salary Range:$74,700 - $144,400
* Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
Qualifications We Require:Bachelor's degree in environmental health, occupational health, industrial hygiene, biology, chemistry, or a closely related field. Or equivalent experience in lieu of degree must be directly related experience.
Experienced in industrial hygiene (occupational/environmental health) through a combination of related education, and training.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q‑level security clearance.
Qualifications We Desire:Master's degree in environmental health, occupational health, industrial hygiene, biology, chemistry, or a closely related field.
Credentialed by the following:
ABIH as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
BCSP as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Experience in the following:
Work independently on assignments and exercising decision‑making authority
Provide authoritative consultation and advice based on experience and technical knowledge
Perform occupational/environmental health related monitoring and interpreting results
Work with AI
Microsoft Office Suite computer applications
Ability to work effectively with others in a teaming environment under minimal supervision
Excellent customer relationships and workplace interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
