OpportunityOverview
Electrical Engineer‑Level 4 based in Juno Beach, FL but remote work allowed. This is a 1‑year contract assignment (W‑2). Provide high‑level expertise in system design, grid optimization, and technical risk management.
Work with customer leadership to guide engineering strategies, solve complex challenges, and ensure long‑term infrastructure resilience. You will have advanced experience in system integration, and risk management, ensuring project success from conception through execution.

Remote with trips to Juno Beach, FL 33408
- Provide high-level oversight of engineering and project execution, negotiate technical and regulatory requirements, and influence executive‑level project decisions.
- Lead diverse engineering teams, ensure compliance with industry standards, and improve technical designs for energy infrastructure.
- Be the technical authority on engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage PPA, LGIA, and OEM testing completion.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in PLC programming, preferably Schneider Electric platforms.
- Experience with Modbus, DNP3, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with Ignition SCADA platform and HMI development.
- Experience with power systems and utility‑scale energy projects.
- Experience with utility‑scale renewable energy or power generation projects.
- Knowledge of BESS control systems, inverters, and energy storage technologies.
- Familiarity with grid interconnection requirements and utility standards.
- Experience with FAT/SAT testing procedures and commissioning protocols.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for project commissioning support.
- NERC CIP cybersecurity awareness.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $65.00/hr to $70.00/hr.
