Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager with 2-4 years of experience to assist in planning and coordinating construction and engineering activities from design through execution within a manufacturing setting. This role requires a professional who is adept at working collaboratively with architects, engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and technical deliverables.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in planning and coordinating construction and engineering activities from design through execution.
+ Support and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and technical deliverables.
+ Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
+ Provide support and guidance to project teams, managing and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
+ Prepare, review, and save project documentation, including reports, change orders, and progress updates. Oversee project documentation including drawings, as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
+ Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
+ Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Essential Skills
+ Knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
+ Familiarity with construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
+ Mechanical experience with an understanding of mechanical installations such as grinders.
+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate critical information clearly.
+ Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other advanced construction technologies.
+ Proficient in PC applications and MS Office Suite of tools.
+ Ability to travel when needed.
Work Environment
The position is primarily remote, with five days of remote work and one onsite visit per month. Initially, you will be dedicated to the York location for six months, after which there will be a transition to a location in either Alabama (AL) or Ohio (OH), to be determined.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of York, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $47.00/hr.
