We Are Seeking

An Operations Senior Developer for our West Coast office to support package development and project management activities of new product innovations and transversal projects, based in our El Segundo, CA office. Innovation projects are defined as new product developments with high complexity and/or new technologies. Transversal is defined as projects to support service, capacity, value analysis, industrial strategy, sustainability and business continuity.

Day in the Life

As the liaison between the Global Marketing team and Operations, you will bring products to life as a project manager by:

  • Assessing launch viability by way of cost, timeline, and sustainability feasibility studies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Operations and R&I) throughout the launch cycle
  • Conducting risk assessments and create mitigation plans
  • Presenting launch reviews and escalations to Operational and Leadership teams
  • Supporting technical projects such as pack harmonization and improvements for sustainability or profitability
  • Leading project review meetings and maintain organized and effective project trackers
We Are Looking For
  • Education: A completed Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related engineering/technical discipline is required
  • Experience:
    • 3-5+ years of experience in technical package/product development and project management is required
    • Experience in cosmetics, consumer goods, or related field is preferred
  • Strong Technical Skills in Microsoft 365, especially Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to travel to manufacturing sites in the 10-15% of the time is required
  • Must be collaborative and able to create strong relationships with all cross-functional teams
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills to be able to influence effectively with all levels of our organization internally and externally
  • The ability to be onsite, in the office as this is an essential function of the position (required)
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis without the need for legal sponsorship now or in the future (required)

  • Base Salary Range: $77,400 - $110,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
