- Participating in project meetings and effectively communicating with design teams, clients, owners, and building/fire officials as needed.
- Engaging in business development activities, building relationships with clients, participating in local organizations, and contributing to firm growth.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Texas P.E. license or the ability to obtain one.
- At least 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering (preferred).
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying International Building and Fire Codes and NFPA Standards to various projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience using software such as Windows, Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Blue Beam Revu, Hydra
CAD, CONTAM, KYPipe, AutoCAD, and Revit for fire protection system design.
We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid life insurance
- 401(k) with matching contributions
- Paid time off and holidays
- Flexible work environment to support work/life balance (primary on-site with some remote work opportunities)
- Salary: $90,500 - $175,000 per year (based on experience, education, and skillset)
- The position is full-time and based in San Antonio, TX 78217.
- Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving to the area.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (We are unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas).
