    • What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic processes for project site evaluations in correlation with transmission capacity
  • Identify optimal interconnection points to grow the company's portfolio
  • Facilitate transmission power load flow studies and system modeling initiatives
  • Ensure reliability and cost optimization during the interconnection process
  • Collaborate with transmission market operations teams on hedging and FTR strategies

    • What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering
  • Power flow modeling experience with PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN, MUST, TARA, and/or Power World
  • Understanding of economic transmission market planning and analysis
  • Knowledge of transmission interconnection application management and LGIA processes
  • Familiarity with electricity market policy and rules
  • Experience working with ISOs and/or RTOs

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Working knowledge of Utility-scale renewable energy operations (Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Battery Storage)
