Total Energies is rapidly expanding its U.S. renewable energy footprint—and we’re looking for a detail‑driven, systems‑savvy Technical Onboarding Specialist to help us elevate the performance of our solar, wind, and battery energy storage assets nationwide.
In this role, you’ll be at the center of our digital transformation, ensuring every new renewable site is accurately integrated into our monitoring and asset performance management platforms. Your work will directly impact data quality, uptime, and operational excellence across the country.

🌟What You’ll Do
As a Technical Onboarding Specialist, you will serve as the bridge between engineering data, monitoring platforms, and operational readiness by:
- Collecting, reviewing, and structuring technical documentation from utility‑scale renewable assets.
- Translating site drawings and SCADA signal lists into clean, standardized data models.
- Ensuring complete and accurate technical configuration within our APM platform.
Build the comprehensive “Site Configuration Package” for each asset, including:
- Asset hierarchy
- Alarm lists, mapping, and definitions
- Performing rigorous QA checks on SCADA and telemetry data after onboarding.
- Identifying missing, incorrect, or misconfigured signal points.
- Tracking onboarding progress, risks, and delays while communicating updates to cross‑functional teams.
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (
or equivalent experience
). - Ability to interpret single‑line diagrams & as‑built layouts for utility‑scale energy sites.
- 3+ years of experience with renewable operations or SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with coding fundamentals (C/C++, Python).
- Experience onboarding data into APM, monitoring, or KPI‑driven analytics platforms.
- Background in utility‑scale solar, BESS, or performance engineering.
- Unmatched attention to detail.
- High ownership and autonomy.
- Clear communication across engineering, operations, EPC, and IT teams.
- A problem‑solving, solutions‑first mindset.
