Aligned is seeking 25 talented Civil Engineers to join our team of AI industry consultants for immediate part‑time, remote work supporting AI research. Projects begin at $45‑70 USD / hour for newly approved experts, with potential to scale upwards of $150 USD / hour for high‑performing experts.

• You are a native or fluent English speaker and can confidently write at the university level.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. PE licensure is strongly preferred.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of professional civil engineering experience working on meaningful infrastructure projects at an engineering consultancy, government agency, contractor, or developer.
• You have demonstrable expertise in areas such as structural analysis, transportation design, geotechnical engineering, water resources, construction management, or infrastructure planning.
• You possess exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex engineering concepts and technical recommendations clearly.
