Project Development Intern

Primergy Solar, LLC is a developer, owner and operator focused on both distributed and utility scale solar PV and battery storage projects in North America. Primergy Solar features a diverse and talented team with decades of experience in renewables project development, financing, construction and operations. It is currently managing and progressing a significant portfolio of operational and development stage solar+ battery storage projects.

Primergy Solar is a portfolio company of Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners and represents Quinbrook’s principal solar and solar plus energy storage investment platform in North America.

Primergy is committed to making sure the benefits of participation in the renewable energy industry are equitable, and that the industry continues to grow from diverse perspectives. We are designing an internship program that provides students long-term exposure to the multifaceted solar and energy storage development business, with the intention of providing the skills and exposure to launch careers in this exciting field.

Primergy’s internship program also allows participants the opportunity to build a network of professionals across finance, mergers and acquisitions, development, engineering, commercial strategy, and more.

Students studying engineering, business, economics, geography, marketing, communications and policy are all encouraged to apply, but the key qualifications for a Primergy internship position are:

• An enthusiastic and genuine passion for construction, operations of renewable power plants
• Focused technical passion with demonstrated knowledge of science & technology.
• Strong analytical skills
• Written and verbal communications skills with ability to learn, act as directed, and offer feedback through clear communication and attention to detail
• The ability to work remotely and independently, step into new tasks and adapt to unique circumstances in a dynamic environment
• Honest, reliable and have a strong work ethic.
• Skills in Microsoft Office (excel, word, power point, SharePoint), KMZ/Google Earth and group presentations as pertains to the work being completed.
