You Are:
UST is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong expertise in hardware development, firmware integration, NPI execution, cloud telemetry/diagnostics, FMEA coordination, and end-to-end hardware lifecycle management.
The opportunity:
* Lead and execute cross-functional programs spanning hardware, firmware, operations, suppliers, and cloud service teams.
* Own program schedules, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and executive reporting.
* Coordinate hardware engineering activities across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and validation teams.
* Drive firmware readiness (BIOS, BMC, diagnostics) and align them with hardware development milestones.
* Lead NPI phases (EVT/DVT/PVT), factory readiness, and build execution, ensuring smooth transition to mass production.
* Facilitate FMEA activities, track mitigation actions, and integrate outcomes into design and validation workflows.
* Partner with cloud telemetry and diagnostics teams to enable monitoring, predictive maintenance, and field data analysis.
* Manage hardware lifecycle activities including sustaining, ECO processes, component changes, and field issue resolution.
* Support root-cause investigations, ensure closure of technical issues, and improve reliability and serviceability.
* Drive effective communication and alignment across engineering, operations, suppliers, and leadership.

What you need:
* 7-12+ years of experience managing complex hardware, firmware, or cloud system programs.
* Strong understanding of server/PC architecture, hardware bring-up, BIOS/BMC flows, and diagnostics.
* Hands-on experience with NPI processes including EVT, DVT, PVT builds and manufacturing readiness.
* Proven expertise in FMEA, quality engineering coordination, and risk management workflows.
* Experience with cloud telemetry, remote diagnostics, and field data trend analysis.
* Excellent program management, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder communication skills.
* Ability to drive technical triage, root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
* Desired
Skills:
Experience working with cloud infrastructure hardware (Azure, AWS, GCP) or data center platforms.
* Knowledge of reliability engineering, sustaining operations, and hardware quality processes.
* Familiarity with JIRA, Agile methodologies, PLM systems, and manufacturing execution tools.
* PMP, Scrum, or formal program management certification (preferred but optional).
* Qualification:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
* Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
