Solution Design Engineer - Remote

Your Role

Solution Design Engineers support the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities, renewals of current customer contracts, and re‑engineering operations for current customers.

• Provide engineering support for proposals, renewals and re‑engineering activities to support CEVA Business Growth and Retention objectives, including data analysis, concept of operations, design layouts, process identification, build engineering models, and proposal development.
• Continuously develop engineering skills to improve distribution center operations.
• Collaborate with BDs and Program Managers to schedule, prepare and submit proposals and/or renewals promptly.
• Provide engineering support for other operational improvements as requested.
• Incorporate green initiatives into CEVA proposals when appropriate and in conjunction with employee support of local communities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of logistics & distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions.
• Experience in 3PL, e‑commerce, or omni‑channel fulfillment preferred.
• Six Sigma and Lean certification a plus.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, data analysis, process‑mapping tools, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of WMS functionality.
• Experience with warehouse automation applications a plus.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills with a history of building relationships and trust.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions.
• Ability to travel domestically 10‑15% of the time.
