As an Engineering Manager, you will report to the Director of Engineering and play a key role on a syllabusengineering team. You’ll lead a talented group of data and software engineers, partnering closely with product management to shape, design, and deliver innovative technology solutions that support our client s strategic goals. In this role, you’ll balance hands-on contribution with team leadership—guiding initiatives from concept through deployment while fostering a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.

• Partner with Product Management to plan releases and address technical, performance, and security needs
• Lead and oversee the team’s engineering processes and delivery
• Assign, coordinate, and manage team priorities and workload
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders on roadmaps, timelines, risks, and progress
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to integrate, deploy, and operate services
• Define scope, effort, and technical approach for team initiatives
• Ensure strong system architecture, reliability, monitoring, and on-call practices
• Advocate for the team by securing resources and supporting their success

• 5 years previous work experience in technical leadership with large-scale, growing systems.
• 5 years of experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating goals, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
• 5 years of experience in preparation and development of reports, briefings, and other technical documents.
