About the role, Your ImpactBaxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Transportation Intern in our Fernandina Beach, FL office. This on‑the‑job experience will support the firm’s transportation department with the planning and design of a variety of transportation facilities and offer the opportunity to work within a transportation design team.
What your day‑to‑day will look like, what you will learn on the job- CAD
- Quantity Computation
- In‑office and on‑site data collection
- Ongoing pursuit of a 4‑year degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering.
- Available to start May 2026.
- Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman’s service area (own transportation).
- Work in a team environment.
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
The hourly pay for this role is $23.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
