SCS Engineers is seeking an Air Quality/Environmental Compliance Project Manager to become a long‑term asset to our growing practice in the Southwest. You will complete technical work, manage client contacts, and oversee the schedule and deliverables to meet SCS’s quality standards. The role supports solid waste and industrial clients and may involve hybrid or remote work from California, Arizona, or Nevada.

• Air quality permitting and compliance; greenhouse gas emissions compliance.
• General regulatory compliance and permitting for solid waste and industrial facility projects.
• Technical work such as air modeling, calculations, review of compliance issues, documentation preparation, data review, research, and report writing.
• Field activities including meetings on compliance or permitting matters.
• Client interaction and proposal preparation as needed.
• Occasional travel may be required.

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Chemical, or related Science (or higher) required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in air quality, permitting, and/or environmental compliance.
• Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
