Role Summary
Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for an Industrial Engineer Analyst
. This onsite role is located in Findlay, OH, and focuses on delivering solutions for technical challenges at Whirlpool Corporation. Responsibilities include developing and executing lean initiatives, labor standards and cost, as well as capacity of processes at manufacturing plants.
- Process Analysis:
Evaluate current production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement through data collection, time studies, and performance metrics analysis. - Design and Implementation:
Develop and implement new production methods, layouts, and workflows to optimize production flow, minimize waste, and maximize utilization of resources. - Cost Optimization:
Analyze production costs, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining quality standards. - Project Management:
Lead and manage improvement projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress against established goals. - Data Analysis:
Utilize statistical tools to interpret data, identify trends, and inform decision‑making; update and validate data integrity. - Flexibility:
Work all shifts when necessary. - Support Operations:
Provide support to operations as needed with implementation of improvements, participating in planning, follow‑up, and training of affected users. - Leadership:
Lead by example, understand responsibility of following employee handbook policies and guidelines. - New Product Line Development:
Assist with work‑station development and RTR updates and reports when necessary. - Company Representation:
Represent the company well by being responsible, punctual, and motivated to go above and beyond.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role (internships acceptable).
- 1+ years of AutoCAD experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, WCM Methodology).
- Familiarity with CAD software and data analysis tools (SAP, Google Sheets, Smartsheets, Solidworks, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
