Lafayette Office has a strong legacy of delivering exceptional engineering solutions for historic and modern bridges, roadways, streetscapes, and public civil infrastructure projects. You’ll work on high-profile projects for INDOT, counties, municipalities, and academic institutions, contributing to the development of transportation networks that communities rely on every day.

• Lead development of plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
• Provide technical expertise in structural design and constructability
• Review, certify, and seal design documents as required
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subconsultants
• Support project scope, schedule, and budget coordination with the Project Manager
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings
• Mentor junior engineers and promote design best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• PE license in Indiana (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• 7+ years of bridge engineering experience
  
  Strong technical, communication, and coordination skills

• A problem-solving mindset, using creativity, engineering expertise, and collaboration to tackle complex challenges.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to discuss timelines and technical details with clients, agencies, and internal teams.
• A thorough understanding of codes, regulations, and design standards in relevant jurisdictions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A service-oriented attitude, dedicated to improving communities through civil infrastructure innovation.
