Principal Test Engineer

Glia Cell is seeking a Principal Test Engineer for a full‑time position on a U.S. Government contract. The role requires an active or re‑instatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

• Design and implement automated tests for web applications.
• Execute automated and manual testing as needed.

• Active or re‑instatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• 20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline (or five years additional SE experience in lieu of a degree).
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills.

• Understanding of constructing Gherkin statements.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases.
• Analyze and interpret test results.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve automation issues.
• Occasional manual test verification.
• Participate in cross‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for coordination in building automation frameworks.

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium).
• Experience writing tests in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with databases (e.g., SQL).
• Experience designing and implementing automated systems for software testing.
• Experience identifying and replicating errors in automation scripts.
• Experience planning, executing, and analyzing test data to verify performance and efficiency of systems.
